We know you love wine and we know you love chocolate, but is there really anything better than a perfect combination of the two? Morgan has selected a great series of wines and chocolates for you to experience in our Manson tasting room during Lake Chelan Wine Valley’s Red Wine and Chocolate February event. We are also proud to be working with a Manson original in Judy’s Sweet Shop to get our pairings just right!
2019 RED WINE AND CHOCOLATE
MENU WHAT’S IN STORE FOR YOUR PAIRINGS  2015 Provocant Dark Chocolate Razzcherry This silky smooth red blend has its fruit flavors accentuated by the rich dark chocolate. With hints of tart cherry and raspberry help to cut through this rich pairing. 2014 La Sœur Chocolate Blueberry Our Merlot based blend is complemented with the richness of the dark chocolate, while the fruit flavors shine with the tartness of the blueberry, to help cut the perceived sweetness of this fruit forward blend. 2014 Le Frère Milk Chocolate Covered Pecan The rich nuttiness is balanced with the spice notes of this Cabernet forward blend. With the rich milk chocolate balanced with the light acidity in the wine, and the slight saltiness of the pecan to bring out the fruit notes in the wine. 2015 Reserve Cabernet Coffee Toffee Our richest wine paired with this decadent chocolate covered toffee. The coffee notes bring out the underlying spice in the wine, while the dark chocolate is a great match for the dark plum and blackberry flavors in the wine. 2016 Reminiscence Riesling Chocolate Raspberry We know that this is red wine and chocolate, but some rules are meant to be broken! With this tart raspberry flavor complementing the sweetness of our Riesling, and that light sweetness of the chocolate being cut by the acidity in the wine. We might make a white wine drinker out of you!
